About our Salon

Mykala and Co was founded by our proud owner Mykala Bowlby who is a highly experienced master stylist at all things color with a specialty in Hand Tied Extensions! With over 10 years behind the chair, Mykala has extended her passion for hair to creating her very own hair extension line; Golden Strands Extensions as well as creating a thorough assistant program to help train new stylists in the industry to become strong, well-rounded stylists! Her fiancé, Derek Lemon, is a co-owner of the business that helps with a lot of the back-end side of the salon! At Mykala and Co Salon, you will find high-end retail products to accompany your high-end service! We carry Kevin Murphy and Unite hair products as well as our favorite Bioionic curling irons and even silk pillowcases! We promote our favorite products to help with your hair health on our shop .

Our salon is a 10-chair commission-based salon with a highly advanced assistant program that focuses on continued education for all of our staff. We host some of the top stylists in our industry at our salon. We have an immense focus on educating so our guests can experience a wide variety of techniques!
